Patanka Navjivan Yojna
Patanka Navjivan Yojna ( Patanka New Life Plan) , was a joint endeavor of different organizations . The objective of the project was to establish a model of holistic rehabilitation after the Gujarat earthquake, 2001. It incorporated different elements of livelihood, shelter reconstruction and training with the people of Patanka, Gujarat , non governmental organizations of India, Nepal and Japan and governments at all level.

India Tsunami Response
Led by SEEDS Mason Association , SEEDS constructed intermediate shelter for 354 families affected by Tsunami in the Nanjappa Nagar area of Hutbay, little Andamans. This was followed by several initiatives for local community like safety of schools & children, GIS based risk mapping of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and a citizen resource centre for citizen education and training on disasters risk reduction.

Kashmir interim shelter programme
An earthquake of magnitude 7.6 hit the Himalayan region of Kashmir on 8th October, 2005( Also known as Pakistan Earthquake). Following an immediate relief, SEEDS constructed 400 intermediate shelters for families affected by the earthquake. The shelter were completed a week before the first winter snowfall.

Post flood shelter restoration programme
Incessent rain the desert state of Rajasthan, India gave rise to one of the worst floods in Rajasthan in two centuries. Heavy monsoon rain that started on the 16th of August, 2006 engulfed several villages of the 12 odd districts of Rajasthan. SEEDS in partnership with Christian Aid and ECHO constructed 300 houses across 15 flood affected villages to meet the housing need. The initiative was primarily aimed at marginalized and socially excluded families that had small land holdings and no resource to rebuild.
